AFAS Personal

Back in 2007 I’ve founded AFAS Personal with three fellow students. By participating in the ICT Entrepreneurship course of the Master of Business Informatics program at the Utrecht University we needed to come up with a few applicable business ideas and before we knew we managed to build up a profound platform, got two investment rounds and managed user growth from 0 to over 200,000 users in less than three years. With the product we also won some awards of which I liked the The Next Web audience award the most. I’m very proud of the founders dedicating everything in that period and furthermore I’m very happy that the product is still being used by more than 500,000 people in the Netherlands.
